look at Google games. the best idea they have is Pac-Man.
I don't think this will fail, tbh - it's quite a jump up.. Although Nvidia already do some of the things they are talking about.
i think they will fail. they will make a little money, but they are anti-intellectual. they hate IDEAS and they will make a little money, and then it will trickle to nothing. Starting as they are starting now? "Assassin's Creed?" it's just MK.
they are pro-intellectual - TOO pro intellectual.. to the point of being all focused into the intellect ;)
They are talking about doing this for all games, not just assassin's creed - they just used that as an example.
"EXAMPLE?" for our CHILDREN? they could have had pacman, pokemon, something life-affirming. It's MK, and we all know what Kurzweil, Google's director, is all about re: 2045. so I HOPE IT FAILS. i'll put it that way. assassins are bad for kids.
fun shouting with you btw...: )
An example of the technology - I agree that it would be more balanced to pick a game that isn't violent. That game is one of the most visually impressive around and most such games tend to be violent, I find.
ah, well...violence is inherent in nature. there was a Big Bang...lightning strikes mountainsides...it was more about glorification of the assassin that bothered me that day. maybe games that rewarded intellect and cooperation. but...no spoilers :)
pacman, for example. he's a KILLER. he EATS then and they turn into EYEBALLS. OVER and OVER. bloody. but...well, no spoilers :)
Well, pacman seemed to spawn the entire rave scene.. people in a dark room eating pills and listening to beepy music :)
yeah, pills, man. i'm glad you said it.
q: how many peace punks does it take to screw in a light bulb? a: zero. peace punx can't get ANYTHING done.
thats way to obvious. To the point where, I like to actually play DancDancRevolution, and StepMania
