Mystical Musings

Pondering all the big questions without ignoring the little ones. No religion, no agenda, nothing for sale. Talk about everything from string theory to sacred geometry and from meditation to summoning spirits. There is no specific category for the musings here just that there's a bit of the mystical rubbed on it. Dream interpretation? Definitely. Astral trips? Absolutely. Tarot? Terrific. OK, enough alliteration. This zone builds itself.

I honor the place in you where the entire universe resides.
I honor the place in you of love, of hope, of peace.
I honor the place in you where
when you are in that place in you
and I am in that place in me
there is only one of us.

To most people who use the word Namasté the above interpretation is familiar, one of many commonly used interpretations. A more nutshell version is, “The Divine in me recognizes and honors the Divine in you,”

Popular use of the word Aloha is simply as a word people in Hawaii use that means both hello and goodbye. There is, however, much more to Aloha than most people think. Aloha is being a part of all that is, of being connected to something greater than ourselves. It is respect for all of life, plants, animals, people and the Earth itself, all living things.

The literal meaning of aloha is “the presence of breath” or “the breath of life.” It comes from “Alo,” meaning presence, and “ha,” meaning breath. Aloha as a way of living one’s life translates for people who choose it into treating one another with respect. Its deeper meaning begins by learning to love and respect ourselves and then spreading that love and respect outwards to others. Living the spirit of Aloha is about sending and receiving positive energy. When you live the Spirit of Aloha, you create positive feelings and thoughts, which exist in space, multiply and spread over to others with no obligation in return. When you live the spirit of Aloha you hear what is not said, see what cannot be seen and know the unknowable.

To put it simply, Aloha is a way to live one’s life awakened day to day, moment to moment, seeing the sacred in all things thus recognizing connection. Aloha is connection fully recognized, Namasté is connection fully realized, the two go hand in hand. Namaloha is making the choice to tap into the guidance and intuition one can access through connection.
