When unloving thoughts are allowed to be held in us, their first action is to deny and destroy our feeling parts and thus we lose emotional integrity, balance and ability to feel. The only way we have to KNOW what is truly loving and what is unloving is through FEELING.
The presence of unloving thoughts is so unconscious, heartless and UNLOVING that just like many pathogens it seeks to prevent it's own destruction and removal while also preventing us healing - which ultimately leads to it's own death anyway. In fact, WE prevent our own healing by refusing to notice the problem and let the unloving thoughts go.
Our only possible solution to this is to making feeling our highest priority - on par with breathing air. Only when we do this can we know what is loving and what is not within us and can start to fix this epic and ancient dysfunction that underpins the majority of our suffering on earth. The resulting injury that unloving thoughts have caused in us can be called 'the gap' or 'the gap of heartlessness' or 'the mind gap' or many other forms of gapping that holds thoughts from emotions and us from love.
